Extended Care is offered Monday through Friday following our school calendar. It begins before the school day, from 6:45 A.M. until 8:00 A.M., and after school from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Children can be enrolled throughout the school year.

The rate per hour:
One Child: $5.00
Two Children: $9.00
Three Children: $11.00

Each child must have a completed Consent and Emergency Contact Form on file with the Extended Care Program. The forms include persons who are authorized to pick up your child. Children will not be released to anyone without prior written notification.

Students in grades 1 through 8 have one hour of homework time. Free time includes playground equipment, balls, Legos, books, and memory games. In the morning, children watch movies, color, and play cards. They may also bring a light breakfast from home.

In addition to adult supervision, we have seventh and eighth-grade helpers who play with the children as well as volunteers from Loyola High School who come several days a week.

For many Saints Peter and Paul parents, their greatest concern is where their child will be cared for after school.
Parents at Saints Peter and Paul school have a unique alternative for after schol care – the school’s Extended Day Program. Extended Day offers a safe, comfortable, and secure environment for children in grades PK4 – 8.

Our Extended Day program is fun and educational. Extended Day provides gym/play time, homework time, a snack and a variety of enrichment activities each afternoon. The program operates during regular school days. There is a yearly registration fee of $25 per family.

Extended Day Details

Cost
• Registration fee is $25.00 per family.
• Children attend on a drop in basis. There is no need to submit a schedule of children’s attendance.
• The charge per child is $8.00 an hour rounded to the next half hour. Invoices are sent out online for the previous month on the 1st of every month. They are due on the 15th of the month.
• ou can pay online with a credit card, or have credit card information on file for automatic payment.
